2012 Event Calendar

The following events are planned for 2012 at the moment. This list will be updated as soon as new events are confirmed. Some events may be of interest to EATOC members but are not organised by the club, please check details before setting out as the club will not take any responsibility for incorrect information appearing here.

Please note - the club has public liability cover arranged for all the club members when at meetings or gatherings. If you are not a member of the club then we will the not stop anyone coming to an event but you do so at your own risk and will not be covered under the club's insurance.

This list and calendar are colour-coded to make it easier to find the events you are interested in by using the following key.

The route for the Norfolk run has now been finalised. We will be stopping at the Red Hart pub in Bodham for lunch www.bodhamhart.co.uk. They have a regular menu and a £ 5 special meal deal as well. The route is as follows:

09:30 Tiger Racing, Wisbech (PE13 2TY)
10:15 Leave Tiger Factory
Turn onto A1122 and follow signs to Downham Market, at Downham follow signs for A1122 Swaffham
Join the A47 towards Swaffham keep an eye out for the Wind Turbine on your right.
After the wind Turbine take the next exit off the A47
Loop round to the A1065 and head into Swaffham
11:15 Fuel /Toilet / Coffee stop at Swaffham Eco Centre Point B (PE37 7HT)
11:45 Leave Swaffham
Take A1065 north and follow the road until Fakenham point C
At the end of the A1065 Take the A148 (signposted Cromer)
Bypass Holt (do not go through the town centre) staying on the A148 Point D
12:30 Proceed to Bodham for the Red Hart pub for lunch. The pub is off to the left off the A148 Point E (NR25 6AD)
14:00 Leaving the pub cross the A148 to the other side of Bodham
Continue to a T junction and turn right
Follow the road to Kelling
At Kelling take the A149 coast road towards Hunstanton
In Holme slow down due to the exit coming up.
There is a small bus shelter on the left, take the left immeadiately after this signposted Ringstead.
The signpost is on the junction so don't miss it!
Continue to the village of Fring Point H
Take the Shernborne Road
Continue through Shernborne until you reach the back of Dersingham
Turn Right onto Manor Road B1440 T-Junction signposted Sandringham
The road sweeps to the left in front of the Sandringham House gates - turn right here
15:15 Follow the signs to the visitor centre car parks Point I (PE35 6EH)
Point J is for reference to head people back to Kings Lynn if needed.
