EATOC Club History

The club was started at a Tiger Open Day when David Buckeldee & Brian Duddridge were asking if an East Anglia club was available for them to join. At that time no such club existed. So between them they decided to form one at the beginning of January 2000.

The idea is to provide a club that allows Tiger owners (and anyone who may be interested in the cars) to have a means of communicating with like-minded people. As it is not practical for all members to be able to meet up on a regular basis a monthly newsletter is produced. The membership fees all go to the running costs of the club to provide the newsletter and to allow for purchasing of equipment like the gazebo and flag. These are then used to raise the profile of the club at shows and events that we attend.

Selected back issues of the newsletters are available on the club website, as a member you will gain access to the entire newsletter archive.

We hold meetings at various venues. However due to the area the club covers we can't know about everything in your local patch. So if you know of a show / venue / pub then you are encouraged to let the events co-ordinator know about these hidden gems. We can then try with yourself to set up a meeting via the newsletter and e-mail.

The club is very active, and growing all the time, so why not join us. Just complete the form on this page and send it to the address at the bottom with a cheque made payable to EATOC for the appropriate fee.

When we process your membership application you will be phoned or e-mailed with your membership number and password. The password will grant you access to the members area of the club website. A welcome pack will follow by post and includes a free EATOC sticker for your car.

We have arranged component discounts with various suppliers, discounted insurance and we can supply Caps, EATOC stickers, embroidered polo shirts.

So if you would like to join us, you are very welcome.
